Cross the Business Reference Model with the Data Reference Model and every data topic gets a list of the capabilities that create it and use it. Attach a trustee, steward and review cadence to each topic and the blanks become a worklist, not an audit finding.

This site's judgement, not a CAUDIT standard. The 29 level-1 BRM capabilities are mapped to the 18 DRM data topics from the HERM v3.2.0 definitions and common higher-ed practice. Some mappings are debatable. The governance values describe a sample institution, so replace them with your own. Role and classification terms follow the higher-ed framework at campusdatagov.com.
